Paid online slot

Rs. 300 Special Entry Darshan

Special Entry Darshan is usually released online as a monthly quota through the official TTD portal. Quotas fill quickly during weekends, summer holidays and festival periods.

  • Book only through ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in.
  • Carry the same ID proof used while booking.
  • Report only during the allotted time slot.
  • Coordinate accommodation and return travel after confirming the darshan slot.

Free darshan

Sarva Darshan / Slotted Sarva Darshan

Sarva Darshan is the free darshan option. Slotted Sarva Darshan tokens may be issued at Tirupati counters depending on crowd conditions and TTD arrangements.

  • Token availability changes daily and may exhaust early.
  • Live status and counters should be checked through TTD updates.
  • Festival and high-rush days may have special crowd-control rules.
  • Keep water, snacks for children/seniors and essential medicines ready.

Walking pilgrims

Divya Darshan / Footpath route

Pedestrian pilgrims use Alipiri or Srivari Mettu routes. TTD provides facilities such as free luggage transport, water, toilets, shelters, medical support and security patrols.

  • Choose Alipiri or Srivari Mettu based on fitness and timing.
  • Deposit luggage at designated counters before the climb.
  • Check current Divya Darshan token arrangements before starting.
  • Avoid walking if health, weather or crowd conditions are unsuitable.

How TTD releases online quota

TTD commonly releases darshan, seva and accommodation quotas in monthly windows through the official portal. For May 2026, public TTD announcements reported staged releases for Arjitha Seva electronic dip, paid sevas, Srivani, senior citizen/differently-abled quota, Rs. 300 Special Entry Darshan and accommodation. Future months follow TTD notifications, so always confirm the active month on the official portal before planning.

1. Create/login

Use mobile OTP on the TTD portal and keep pilgrim names, age and ID details ready.

2. Watch release time

Log in before quota release. High-demand categories can sell out quickly.

3. Confirm payment

Complete payment inside the allowed window; unpaid allotments may be cancelled.

4. Save proof

Download tickets and save offline copies for reporting and travel.

Dress code

Wear traditional, modest clothing

TTD expects devotees to dress traditionally and modestly for darshan and sevas.

  • Men: dhoti/pancha with upper cloth, or kurta-pyjama. Shirt and trousers are commonly used by general visitors, but traditional attire is safest for sevas.
  • Women: saree, half-saree, salwar kameez with dupatta, or other modest Indian traditional attire.
  • Avoid shorts, sleeveless tops, low-waist clothing and revealing outfits.
  • Carry a shawl/dupatta for children or elders if needed.

Documents

Carry original ID proof

Keep the ID used during booking with every pilgrim. Ticket and ID mismatch can cause entry issues.

  • Aadhaar, passport, voter ID or other accepted government ID may be requested depending on booking category.
  • Carry printed or offline digital ticket copies.
  • Senior citizen, differently-abled and special quota visitors should carry supporting proof.
  • Names, ages and ID numbers should match booking details.

Reporting and queue tips

  • Reach Tirumala with buffer time but enter the queue only at your allotted slot.
  • Keep footwear and luggage at designated counters.
  • Follow security checks and queue-line instructions.
  • Do not trust agents promising shortcut darshan.

Facilities to know

  • Free luggage deposit/transport is available for footpath pilgrims as per TTD arrangements.
  • Drinking water, toilets, medical help and shelters are available on footpaths.
  • Anna Prasadam and pilgrim amenities are managed by TTD in Tirumala.
  • Medical emergency: use TTD/local emergency support and 108 ambulance.
Important: Darshan timings, ticket quotas, counters, prices, allowed items and queue rules can change at short notice. Treat this page as a planning guide and confirm final details only through TTD before travelling.
